Product description

Absorbing material, also called magnetic shielding material, metal isolation material, or ferrite material, is known on the line as “magnetic cloth”. AB5020HF is a flexible, impact-resistant soft magnetic sheet made by mixing soft magnetic powder, resin, and polymer in a set proportion.

It is easy to impedance-match at high frequency, so it concentrates magnetic flux well and keeps interference from reflecting back into the circuit. That is why it is used so widely in communication products. In RFID and IoT readers and tags, NFC short-range payment, and assemblies built close to metal, the sheet isolates the antenna from the interference that metal causes.
